Its me Sherly George.
A milkmaid.
I live in a village named Enkakkadu in Wadakanchery, Thrissur district of Kerala.
Proudly say, I am a home maker.
Have three children.
The eldest is a daughter- Jisha Elizabeth- she is a Journalist in a mainstream regional language news daily "Madhyamam"
The next is Jinto Sebastian - an artist, occupied with aluminium fabrication as his job.
The youngest is Jijsasal , a passionate photographer , works with news collection in the same news daily in what his sister works. He known as 'Pranchi' and he loves it.
My beloved husband is no more. He was a passionate social worker and gave his life up for the society.
We live in a farm house.
Moti ( its a Hindi word means 'Pearl') , our dog, she protects our home, hen and chicks, cows, goats, everything when we are not at home.
We have a small poultry farm including about 100 hens .
Basically , we do paddy farming. We do not buy rice from the shop. We grow green grocery , use it and sell the rest. We have a banana estate too. Now , I drive the transplanter ( Paddy Planting Machine).
Ok, this is about our home. I love to read and write too. But, the time is limited. Then my children told me ''mom, we will help you to write and publish". And now, it came a dream into reality.
That's all.
Thank you

ReplyDeleteA few years ago it was literacy drive in Kerala. Subsequently it gave way to computer literacy. A woman operator of a transplanting machine, owner of a poultry and a few acres of paddy field has entered the wonderful world of blogging. Milkmaid sounds good enough although you should be indebted to Nestle for using the term! Any way that hardly matters. You have blogged and you have done it in style. Keep doing it.
