Attitude makes a person loyal

Add caption

I shocked!
What monsters were they?
I am talking out of  farming now!

When I heard  about that a girl raped brutally in Delhi, I just Shocked. They raped, broken her genital  with iron rode! Really , they are monsters.
I have one daughter. Also I have two sons. I give them  freedom to  to travel and talk equally. I  believe my sons won't make a bad move against any woman like this, too.  Because they have respect for women , we grow them to respect everybody as they respect themselves .
Some people allege  that the dressing code of women makes men to rape them. It's absurd , nonsense and illogical . Let me say, attitude makes a person loyal or rebellious. Attitude makes a person  moral or immoral. Attitude makes a person  monster or Angel. It's all about your attitude. If you rape a woman , it's your attitude, not the victim's problem.  If you support the rapist with any reason, it's your attitude. If you scold the victim, it's your attitude.

So when you express your opinions, others can assess your attitude.

Anyway, in this context, I express that rapists must have to sterilize!!

Transplanter ate my Finger!

It was a lucky day!
Last Saturday I lost a part of my finger accidently !

I say it 'Lucky Day' because I just lost only the top part of  the ring finger of  my right hand, But I saved my palm fully from cutting down. It's truly 'lucky'!

I was repairing the machinery hands of paddy planting transplanter .
The machinery  hands were stuck.  It was about 10 AM in the morning.  When my co-workers moved to have  snacks and tea, I too climbed down. But before moving to have snacks I decided to repair the machinery hands. When I released the Paddy that had  jammed in the machine, it suddenly worked and plucked my finger.  The transplanter wasn't switched off. My screaming made my co-workers  panic. They ran to me. One my friend gave me some water. They wrapped my finger with the cloth. My middle finger too , wounded.

They picked me up to the nearest hospital. Alas, we forgot to take the finger part with us. That's why doctors couldn't stitch it  with my finger. a small piece of bone remained there .

When I had informed to my children they started weeping and scolding.  They told me " Mamma, are you trying to be handicapped? if you go out without our permission from home , then you will know the after effects'' . My children dont wish me to go out for work. They says they earn for me. But, In my opinion I have the health, and I must go for work.  Job make me happy and help to pass the time. When I sit alone in my home I feel bad. Im alone in that farm house in the day time because my children go for their job .

Now, Im at home. Resting. Listening to the music. Watching TV.  Hosting relatives .

Children are at home.

We will make special *Kanji and  **manga chammanthi Tonight.

Have a great day!

Agriculturist !

Its me with Transplanter

I'm a farmer!
I'm very proud to say that I'm an agriculturist!
Of course, We, farmers secure the food security of the country!

I'm a transplanter driver now. Transplanter use to plant the paddy easily. I learned to operate the machine from Green Army of Agricultural University of Kerala. I was a member of  'Green Army' for a long time.  Then we separated from the Mother Group. And the separated groups started working within the area they live.

My daughter teases me asking 'mom, are you a paddy planting machine operator or green engineer?'.  Ha ha ha....  But It's not a funny thing as what she think  - I always remind my daughter. Because, f
arming decreases a lot in Kerala, and we have been depending Tamilnadu , Andra Pradesh  and other neighboring states  for food.

We  Kerlaites don't have rice, egg, meat , groceries and green groceries in our state. We import it from other states to our kitchens. Alas, young generation doesn't like farming. It will be a danger in the future!

In my home, we don't buy rice from the shop. We grow paddy. We have hundreds of eggs at home, also sufficient meat too . We have cow's  and goat's milk at home too.  We produce green Groceries and Oil too.

Yes, my home is a self sufficient farm house.

Dream of Vechoor Cow!

Gokul with his Vechoor Cow and the older owner!

It's a dream!
But, I know it's very difficult to look after!

Don't you know, Vechoor cow is a rare breed cattle  with a Guinness Book of Record for its dwarfism. It only has an average length of 124 cm and height of 87 cm. It is the smallest cattle breed in the world. But it produces a larger amount of milk relative to the amount of the food it requires!!
We had ten Jersey cattle at home. It's easy to maintain them and get a larger amount of milk than native cattle. But, it was a dream to me to own a Vechoor cow. We have been growing cows for 25 years commercially , yet haven't had a Vechoor!
One year ago Gokul , my daughter's friend owned a Vechoor from Kottayam District of Kerala. This cattle got its name from the village "Vechoor' . He went there and  had owned  'manikkutty', it's her name .  She just delivered a calf  before someday he reached there. It was her first delivery.

Now a days, it's not easy to get a Vechoor Cow even after booking with the Veterinary Universities. Its because about 200 cows are supposed to exist today, nearly 100 of them with the veterinary colleges. In 2000, the Vechoor Cow was listed on the FAO's World Watch List of Domestic Animal Diversity, in its 'critical Maintained Breeds List'.

Anyway, I envy you, Gokul!

A Vechoor Cow at home!

Start Up!
